Meet our Members of the Year
2025 Junior Member: Ianto Evans, Fishguard YFC
How many years have you been in YFC? I have been a member for 4 years now.
What is your favourite competition? My favourite competition has to be public speaking as I get the opportunity to compete in both English and Welsh. Iโve had many brilliant experiences over my time competing.
What is your job outside of YFC? In September I will start my A-levels in biology, chemistry and maths, with the hope of pursuing veterinary science in further education. I am also part of the groundsman team at Priskilly Forest Golf Club.
What are your hobbies? Outside of YFC and school my hobbies include rugby, golf, music and helping out on the farm.
What is your favourite thing about YFC? The social aspect of many young people, from all around the county, being able to connect over similar interests and activities.
If you were a packet of crisps, what would you be and why? I would probably be Walkers, Ready Salted.

What is your favourite competition? Brainstrust or Pantomime
What is your job outside of YFC? Consultant Land Specialist
What are your hobbies? Football, hockey, running โฆ and YFC!
What is your favourite thing about YFC? Competing with and against my friends in club and across the county - its the best way to learn new skills.
If you were a packet of crisps, what would you be and why? Quavers - theyโve been around for years as well and theyโre the only thing cheesier than my jokes!
