Drama Double for Llysyfran YFC
23/02/2010Members of Llysyfran YFC achieved a double whammy recently in the County Drama Festival when they won both the Welsh and English sections.
The Welsh Drama competition took place on Saturday 13th February in Ysgol Bro Gwaun when four clubs competed for the overall trophy. Llysyfran were the winners with Gwenith George, Llysyfran, named Best Actress and Andrew Richards, Clunderwen, Best Actor.
In the English section, seven clubs competed with three appearing in the final at Ysgol Bro Gwaun on Friday 19th February. Llysyfran were again victorious with their own Sioned Ifans winning Best Actress. Best Actor went to Phillip Harries, Tiers Cross YFC; Most Promising Performance was awarded to Jack Jones of Llawhaden YFC; Best Supporting Role - Beth Jackson, South Pembs YFC; Best Set - Martletwy YFC; Best Costumes - Clunderwen YFC.
Llysyfran YFC will now go forward to represent the county at the All Wales Finals.
